Premenopause/Menopause Symptom Management
One 90-minute session includes:
- Medical History
- Symptoms of Hormonal Imbalance Questionnaire
- Identification of risk factors for heart disease, breast cancer, diabetes, and osteoporosis
Clients receive specific symptom management strategies (mood swings, weight gain, hot flashes, fuzzy thinking, decreased libido, head aches, sleep disturbances) and health-enhancing recommendations to decrease risk for disease.
Nutrition and Weight Management
One 90-minute session includes:
- Medical History
- Evaluation of Exercise, Eating Patterns, and Nutrition
- Stress and Coping Evaluation
Clients receive personalized recommendations for an eating plan and nutrient supplementation that address her individual health goals and decreases risk for heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and osteoporosis.
Holistic Wellness Assessment
One 60-minute session and one 75-minute session includes:
- Medical History
- Identification of risk factors for heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and osteoporosis
- Symptoms of Hormonal Imbalance Questionnaire
- Evaluation of Exercise, Eating Patterns, and Nutrition
- Lifestyle Pattern Evaluation: sleep, cognition, mood, relationships
- Life Balance and Personal Satisfaction Inventory
- Stress and Coping Evaluation
After completion of the assessment, clients can expect to:
- Identify specific physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual areas of her life calling for increased balance and harmony
- Create a personalized plan for enhanced levels of well-being based on identified needs and priorities
- Design strategies to implement her Holistic Wellness Plan
Optimal Health and Life Balance Empowerment Sessions
Holistic health sessions tailored to address client's individual needs, concerns, and quest for optimal health and joyful, peaceful life balance.

All sessions include an integrative approach, utilizing both Western medicine and complementary modalities tailored to meet individual client's needs and preferences. Treatment modalities and lifestyle transformation strategies include: strategic wellness planning, implementation, and evaluation, holistic health education, nutritional counseling, behavior modification, body image and self-esteem enhancement, Thought Field Therapy, Energy Medicine and Energy Psychology strategies, guided imagery, movement therapy, chakra balancing exercises, journaling, cognitive restructuring, progressive muscle relaxation, acupressure, and applied yoga, mindfulness based stress reduction, and psychosynthesis theory.

Linda is a registered nurse, holds a bachelors degree in nursing, a masters degree in wellness promotion, and professional certifications as a menopause practitioner, a board certified holistic nurse, and a holistic stress reduction instructor. A certified school nurse and teacher in the State of Illinois, Linda has eight years of experience teaching and serving as the school nurse in the high school setting. Linda's passion for wellness education is fueled by her ten years of nursing experience in the hospital working with critically ill patients. Linda is a respected, well-loved teacher, healer, consultant, wife, and mother. This year, she and her husband celebrated 25 years of marriage. Linda survived the empty nest syndrome, and now enjoys close adult relationships with all four of her children, two of whom are still in college. Linda's hobbies and habits include yoga, meditation, exercise, reading, writing, and cooking.
