I specialize in family and marital therapy. I am trained to work with individuals who have experienced sexual abuse, trauma, divorce, depression, anxiety and learning disorders (such as ADHD). I believe that a family needs to be involved to help a child work through whatever is affecting him or her. I encourage parents to ask questions and to help promote a healthy lifestyle for their children.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I also have a Masters in Professional Counseling.
Before joining North Shore Wellness Services, I was a teacher at a daycare center and a therapist at both a therapeutic alternative high school and a non-profit agency on the North Shore. I have served as a consultant for preschools and daycare centers. I have facilitated workshops for parents and teachers. I also have coordinated and led various groups for children of all ages, from preschoolers to teenagers.
