How much does counseling cost?
Counseling fees depend on the individual therapist involved, and the length of session.
Sessions with a fully credentialed professional will typically cost $124 for 50 minutes, or $185 for 75 minutes. Payment is due at the time of service. What if I can't afford that?
Some therapists will slide their fee scale in some cases. We occassionally have student interns who work under the close supervision of a fully licensed therapist.
When you call to schedule your first appointment, be sure to ask how much the first session is going to cost. If you cannot afford that rate ask for a referral to someone who might slide their rates.
Paying with insurance
North Shore Wellness Services Ltd. is a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois provider. To find out if we are part of your insurance plan, use our Insurance Verification Form to contact your insurance company.

If we are not on your insurance panel we will provide you with an 'insurance ready' receipt which you can submit to your insurance company directly. Use the Insurance Verification Form before your first appointment.
When do I pay for services?
Payment is due at the time of service, paid to the associate directly. Ask if your check should be made out to the therapist or to North Shore Wellness Services, Ltd.
Credit cards are also accepted.
