How much does counseling cost?
Counseling fees depend on the length of your session. Weekly sessions with a licensed professional will typically cost $126 for 50 minutes, $150 for 60 minutes, or $186 for 75 minutes. Your first session, called the Intake Appointment, usually costs $206. Payment is due at the time of service. What if I can't afford that?
Some therapists will slide their fee scale in some cases. We occasionally have student interns who work under the close supervision of a fully licensed therapist. If there is a financial hardship in your family, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your situation. When you call to schedule your first appointment, be prepared to address the fee scale if you would like to apply for a sliding rate.

Insurance companies offer many different plans and products to their customers. Be sure to call the number on the back of your card to find out if your plan is covered. To find out if we are part of your insurance plan, use our Insurance Verification Form to contact your insurance company. It can be found on our Intake Forms page.

If we are not on your insurance panel we will provide you with an 'insurance ready' receipt which you can submit to your insurance company directly. Use the Insurance Verification Form before your first appointment.
When do I pay for services?
Payment is due at the time of service. Your check should be made payable to "North Shore Wellness Services, Ltd."
Credit cards are also accepted.
