Angela Song is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
She received a graduate degree in social service administration from the University of Chicago, and is currently working towards her PhD in clinical social work,
with her research focus on the use of psychotherapy in chronic pain management. Angela's clinical experience includes work with adults, adolescents, and children,
in both individual and family/couple settings. Angela enjoys working with a diverse variety of people, having worked with clients from all over the world.
Angela customizes each therapy to accommodate the client's background, beliefs, and issues. Areas include clinical focuses, such as anxiety and depression,
to everyday life events (such as transitions to married life, new parenthood, college, young adult life, midlife evaluation, illness, and bereavement) as well as other concerns,
such as work related pressures. Sessions can range from brief solution focused, to longer term psychodynamic psychotherapy; Angela works with each client to figure out the best approach to address the client's needs and expectations.
